Dr. Hornyák István

CURRICULUM VITAE of Dr.Istvan Hornyák

He graduated in chemistry from  Technical University and in English from the Foreign Languages University in Budapest(Hungary).
His first position was the National  Institute of Expert Servises,where he dealt with preparation of fluorescent materials and fluorescence measurements.However, he soon joined as a research worker at the Research Institute for Technical Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Science,where he dealt with sensitized fluorescence.
At the Hungarian Academy of Science he gained his PhD  chemistry for his thesis work on analytical application of sensitized fluorescence.
He retired from the National Institute of Expert Services and joined the Technical Univerity,Department of Physical-Chemistry in Budapest and later Janus Pannonius University,Department of Physics in Pécs(Hungary) as an Associate Professor.
Dr.Hornyák is member of the Hungarian ChemistrySociety.

In 1995 he was invited  to member of New York Academy of Sciences.
